This course will help you to understand the requirements of ISO 14064-1 the international standard for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The ISO 14064 series have been developed to specifically provide framework to ensure GHG Emissions accounting data is accurate, complete and transparent. The ISO 14064 series includes:

  • ISO 14064-1:2018: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals
  • ISO 14064-2:2019: Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emission reductions or removal enhancements
  • ISO 14064-3:2019: Specification with guidance for the verification and validation of greenhouse gas statements

Who should attend?

Anyone with responsibility for ESG disclosures related to the scoping, calculation, reduction, removal and reporting of an organisation’s greenhouse gas emissions, including ESG, sustainability and environmental managers, and carbon accounting advisors.

This is a basic ISO 14064-1 awareness course suitable for all levels within an organisation, including staff from any background, e.g., sales, management, technical, environmental, etc.
